New look unveiled at probationer website
Probationer Teacher Scotland, the award-winning online resource for students, probationers, and newly qualified teachers, has been relaunched.
The site, which won the 2009 Chartered Institute of Public Relations PRide Award for Best Website or Microsite, has been revamped by the General Teaching Council Scotland’s in-house Web Services team, with a new design, new features and more interactive content.
Angela Hamilton, E-Services Manager, said: “New teachers are the life blood of the profession – they bring new ideas, skills and enthusiasm to teaching in Scotland and we are working hard to make sure that they are fully supported throughout their probationary year.”
