Recognition for ambitious events

The events team at GTC Scotland has received a commendation at a prestigious awards ceremony. The work around a series of events featuring Annie Lennox and the importance of global citizenship, which the team organised around the Festival of Politics in 2010, was recognised by the judges for its ambitious nature and smooth execution. Glenise Borthwick from GTC Scotland said: "We were up against very stiff competition, so it was even more of an honour to be considered for the award."
