The moving issue of human rights

Learning Through Film: Human Rights in Scotland is a combined book and DVD teaching resource that makes it possible for schools to deliver a series of documentary film-based workshops on human rights in Scotland. Each workshop is based on one of ten short documentaries that made up the multi award-winning BBC project, The New Ten Commandments.

With contributions by Scottish artists and filmmakers, the resource aims not only to expand the understanding of human rights in Scotland, but also to engender increased levels of media literacy among students.
