Learning through paintball

Secondary school pupils have discovered a colourful new way to learn - and they're likely to end up covered with paint in the process! Bedlam, the No.1 Paintball specialist in Scotland, has created a programme that offers 12 to 17-year-olds the chance to develop self-confidence, teamwork and problem solving skills in a safe environment. American Sports Data Inc. found that in a study of eight million people, you are 52 times more likely to be hurt playing golf than paintball.

Taking part

Pupils develop new skills while they participate in structured game scenarios focusing on: teamwork, planning, leadership, decision-making abilities and achieving their goals. Shy pupils are encouraged out of their shell and energetic students channel their energy in a positive way. It's not about winning, it's about taking part in Bedlam.

Bedlam's Specialised Schools Package - £40 per pupil includes:

  • Each adult supervising a group of 10 pupils plays for free
  • Bedlam protection suit
  • Play five individually themed games
  • Standard re-loader of paintballs issued for each game
  • Tippmann marker
  • JT Full Head protective helmet
  • Team photo and certificate - both downloadable from the website after completion.
