Written by GTCS "Glenise Borthwick, the book hopes to raise money for the charity Education Action, which has helped some of the world's poorest people since 1923.

The Council hopes that teachers across the profession will buy the book and support the charity as well as gain help and inspiration from the tips in the book.

The book aims to keep teachers organised, calm and motivated. It does this with humour and understanding.

With witty illustrations from Bob Dewar, one of the UK's top satirical cartoonists, the book aims to become a must for everyone wanting to find ways of coping in the classroom.

About Education Action: Focusing on education in former war torn countries and with refugees from war in the UK, Education Action works in countries which have fragile education systems, like Sierra Leone, Uganda, Sudan and Palestine.

The charity focuses on quality and innovation to help change the world for those who need education to help them play their part in society. Visit them at http://www.education-action.org/
