The Big Read, run by Children's Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS), presents a great opportunity to involve your class or school in some fun fundraising activities.
The Big Read is for all ages, and the charity is asking for volunteers to read for the young people at Rachel House, Robin House and CHAS at Home. It's a great way to encourage reading and raise funds for Scotland's only children's hospice service.
Amy Telford, CHAS Fundraiser, said: "CHAS has been shown great support over the years from teachers and pupils across Scotland. Their involvement is so much appreciated and we hope to continue and build on our relationship with schools, both primary and secondary. There are lots of ways to be involved so if you think your school would benefit from helping CHAS we would love to hear from you!"
For more information on how your school can be involved in the Big Read or other fundraising activities please contact Amy Telford in South East Fundraising on 0131 444 1515 or by email, amytelford@chas.org.uk, or visit CHAS at www.chas.org.uk
